Warranty Information

Product Warranty Certificate
This product is warranted against all manufacturing defects under normal use and service. The product warranty period shall be five (5) years commencing from the date of installation and operation thereof and a maximum of two (2) months from the purchase date under a legal invoice.


Warranty Terms:

  • The installation and operation of the product shall be carried out by Miraco or one of Miraco authorized dealers in accordance with the technical specifications and instructions set out in the installation and operation manuals supplied with the product from the factory.
  • For the warranty to be valid, the data of the Product Warranty Certificate shall be completed, along with submission of a duly certified legal invoice or minutes of installation carried out by Miraco or one of Miraco authorized dealers. The warranty shall be effective from the production date in the event of failure to submit the same.
  • If the installation is carried out by the client, the warranty shall be applicable only to spare parts if the product has a manufacturing defect. The client shall bear the costs of examination, inspection and transportation.
  • During the five-year warranty, Miraco or Miraco authorized dealer, who installed the product, shall repair or replace any part of the product free of charge if the same proves to be defective.
  • The five-year warranty shall be inclusive of the costs of spare parts, inspection and transportation of the service technician, in addition to the fees of product transportation from the purchaser’s place to the service center for repair purposes as well as return after repair.
  • During only the first year of warranty, if the same defect, affecting the quality of the product functional performance, is repeated more than twice, the outdoor or indoor unit, the refrigerant pipe, or the system as a whole shall be replaced with a new one free of charge as per the malfunction type.


Warranty Cancelled in the Following Cases:

  1. Damage caused by higher or lower voltage or by electrical connections between the power supply and the AC circuit breaker (miswiring, cables defects, power supply defects).
  2. Damage caused by improper installation, maintenance service, or repair works carried out by the purchaser.
  3. Damage caused by reinstallation of the product by the purchaser at a place other than the original location where the product was installed by Miraco or Miraco authorized dealer.
  4. Damage caused by improper transportation of the product by the purchaser.
  5. Damage caused by any improper modification to the product by the purchaser.
  6. Damage caused by misuse (negligence, overload, uncleaned air filters, non-compliance with operation instructions set out in the Installation & Operation Manual supplied with the product).
  7. Damage caused by weather events (bad weather conditions, hailstorm, sandstorm, lightening, floods, acid rains, rodents or insects, etc.).
  8. Damage caused by erosion of coils and welds due to presence of vapors or gases affecting the product (installation near sewage treatment plants, drainage channels, cement factories, chemical plants, etc.).
  9. Unsafe installation of the product by the purchaser in a manner inconsistent with installation instructions, technical or safety standards set out in the Installation & Operation Manual supplied with the product.
  10. Any scratch or change to the product serial number or any of the product components.

Purchaser’s Responsibilities:

  • Make electrical connections between the power supply and the AC circuit breaker.
  • Ensure that periodic maintenance services are carried out by Miraco or one of Miraco authorized dealers during the warranty validity period.
  • Keep the Product Warranty Certificate as well as the legal Purchase Invoice to be used when Miraco or Miraco authorized dealer is requested to carry out maintenance/repair works during the product warranty period.
  • Keep the Warranty Service Follow-up Card to be used when Miraco or Miraco authorized dealer carries out any maintenance/repair works during the product warranty period.
  • Following expiry of the product warranty period provided by Miraco or one of Miraco authorized dealers, Miraco recommends that the purchaser sign an annual maintenance contract with Miraco or Miraco authorized dealer who sold and installed the product.

    Note: The serial number of the Product Warranty Certificate is the same as the unit serial number.

Seller’s Responsibilities:
Ensure that all purchaser’s data, installation date and dealer’s data have been filled out in the Product Warranty Certificate as well as the coupon attached to the lower part of the certificate. After completion of its data, the coupon is detached and given to the authorized dealer who sold and installed the product.
